When we dreamed up our girls’ trip, we wanted a mix of city vibes, coastal beauty,
and just the right amount of indulgence—and Lisbon paired with Ericeira delivered
on all fronts. From foodie adventures to stunning scenery, it was the ultimate escape
with my favourite people.

Lisbon: Food, Tiles, and Trendy Finds
We kicked things off in Lisbon, where the energy of the city is absolutely infectious.
Our first stop? The Time Out Market, where we feasted on pregos (the juiciest
Portuguese steak sandwiches) and pastéis de nata that were so good we couldn’t
resist going back for more. It’s the kind of place where you can sample the best of
Portuguese cuisine, all in one lively spot.
The city’s famous tiles had us completely captivated. From intricate azulejos on
buildings to colorful mosaics underfoot, Lisbon is a feast for the eyes. Strolling
through Alfama, we got lost in its winding streets and snapped endless photos, each
corner more charming than the last.
Another highlight was the LX Factory, a creative hotspot filled with unique shops,
art, and quirky cafes. It’s the kind of place where you can spend hours exploring,
sipping coffee, and picking up one-of-a-kind finds to remind you of your trip.

Coastal Charm in Ericeira
After soaking up the city, we headed to Ericeira, a picturesque coastal town with an
effortlessly cool vibe. While we didn’t stay at You Me and The Sea, we stopped by
to check it out, and it’s absolutely dreamy. From its modern apartments to the infinity
pool overlooking the ocean, it’s the perfect spot for a luxury escape. It also has a
gym, a spa, and everything you’d need for a relaxing retreat—maybe next time!
Our real Ericeira highlights? First up was Indigo Ericeira, a cozy bar with margaritas
that were out of this world. We sipped cocktails and soaked up the views over the
Atlantic—pure perfection.

We also spent a day walking along the stunning coastal trails. The combination of
rugged cliffs, crashing waves, and endless ocean views made for a peaceful and
awe-inspiring experience. It’s impossible not to feel refreshed with scenery like this.
Why Lisbon and Ericeira Are a Match Made in Heaven
This trip struck the perfect balance of city adventure and coastal relaxation. Lisbon
dazzled us with its vibrant energy, incredible food, and timeless beauty, while
Ericeira gave us space to breathe, unwind, and laugh over margaritas with the sound
of the waves in the background.
If you’re planning a girls’ getaway, this duo is an unbeatable choice. Between
Lisbon’s buzz and Ericeira’s laid-back charm, you’ll leave with full hearts, happy
bellies, and memories to last a lifetime.
